Michael (’19) and Kathi (Hunt ’13) Santucci

by | Jul 1, 2022 | Graduates Around the World

We are Michael and Kathi Santucci.  Both of us graduated from Fairhaven Baptist College, Michael in 2019 and Kathi in 2013. In the famous 2016 games of volleyball marathon, the Lord crossed our “paths,” and we were married in June of 2018. After Mike graduated in 2019, we moved back to his home church, Cornerstone Baptist Church, in Massillon, Ohio. Upon moving back, the Lord has given us many opportunities to serve together in the youth group, bus ministry, music ministry, and outreach ministries. Mike served as the Assistant Pastor and Kathi worked as the church secretary under Pastor Thomas Fryman until Pastor Fryman’s retirement in November 2021. Pastor Fryman’s retirement came as a bittersweet event for our church as he had been pastoring Cornerstone for over 40 years.

In October 2020, the Lord blessed us with our daughter Adeline and just 3 weeks ago, on April 13th, we were blessed with our son, Gregory Michael Santucci.  It seems just like yesterday, that we were graduating and getting married, and now we are parents of two kids. God is so good!

In November of 2021, Pastor Jeremiah Sargent became our pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church. The transition of pastors was a big step for our church, but it has been very evident through this time that the Lord has been in every step.

This year is an exciting year for our church. We have seen growth in our church, souls saved, baptized, and added to our church family.  Our pastor has a vision for our church family in several areas. This year we are focusing on our outreach ministries. We are having monthly training classes on soulwinning. This month we have our annual Law enforcement day, where we honor our local law enforcement and their families. Our community comes together and with many donations, this Sunday is an extra special day for everyone involved. We are excited for our Spring revivals that will be held this next week with our guest speaker, Evangelist Mark Rogers.

Later this month, our church will begin the training for Master’s Club and we look forward to this opportunity. Children’s ministry has a whole new meaning as we look toward our own kids being able to go through these programs to help train them in the Lord.

We are extremely thankful to be serving here in Cornerstone Baptist Church and covet your prayers as we strive to raise Adeline and Gregory according to His will.

Sincerely,

Michael and Kathi Santucci
