2020 was a big year for us! In March 2020 I commissioned as a 2LT Chaplain Candidate in the WI Army National Guard. Upon finishing my Mdiv Degree I will go before the board to become an WI Army National Guard Chaplain. I will continue to pastor Victory Baptist Church in Pleasant Prairie, WI where I will celebrate my 10-year anniversary as pastor in February 2021, as I perform my Army duties. I am excited about the opportunity to serve God and country in this capacity. As the culture continues to erode away from Christian values, I hope to influence many for Christ!

Things at the church are going along great! We are seeing both spiritual and physical growth! We started the first Sunday in 2021 with a baptism and a new family joining the church. Then on January 8th we held an ordination ceremony for Rick Brown, Jr. (another Fairhaven Grad) who grew up at Victory. It is exciting to see him take this step as he will be of great help to me as I labor in the church and with the Guard. We are praying that God will allow us to take him on full-time soon.

Last June, the church voted to sell the parsonage and allow Kristina and I buy our own home! God blessed and allowed us to move into our new home in October. We really enjoyed the holidays in our new home!

Our four children are growing up fast! Our girls Anna, and Lauren are out of high school, and Spencer and Wesley are finishing up high school. Anna got married on Dec 18 and Lauren is away at college studying Biblical Counseling. She is in her Junior year.

So, despite the crazy and challenging year ministering through all of the Covid-19 concerns and hype, dealing with the Kenosha riots, and other civil unrest throughout the country, God has faithfully led and blessed us all the way! We look forward to see what God will continue to do in our lives as we trust Him!

Sincerely,

Daniel J. Duncan
