2010 Preaching Conference

The last week of April, our annual Preaching Conference, at Fairhaven Baptist Church and College provides us with a tremendous time of preaching and fellowship. Weeks ahead of time we begin praying that God will work in our hearts and that we can draw closer to Him. This year we were blessed to have people from across the nation, especially many of our alumni, come and join us in this special week.

Dr. Wilbert Unger from London, Ontario, began the week preaching our Sunday services and laying the groundwork for a special time in the house of God. Pastor Bill Smith, from Zion, Michigan, one of our first graduates, spoke at our special Sustainer's Banquet for the college. Then, our pastor, Dr. Roger Voegtlin, along with Dr. Don Strange from Fort Myers, Florida, Dr. Don Green from Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Rodger Bottrell from Lyons, New York, Dr. R. B. Ouellette from Bridgeport, Michigan, and Pastor Don Whitecar, assistant pastor at Fairhaven (preparing to go to Belize as a missionary) preached messages to stir our guests, as well as our own hearts, to do more for Christ.  

-- Fairhaven Baptist College is a ministry of Fairhaven Baptist Church in Chesterton, Indiana.  The college trains students for full-time ministry as pastors, missionaries, Christian school teachers and church secretaries.  One-year certificates are also available.
